The kids loved the idea. Then my YouTuber son Kenny challenged me. "Dad, when are you going to write the lyrics so I can help you produce it?"
I replied. "Come on, Kenny! It's a fun idea, but I have important work to do. I can't goof off with a song!" We got home late. I grabbed my notebook and the lyrics for the actual "Ten Duel Commandments" song from "Hamilton" and started writing the first verse. I had NO intention of staying up until 3 am to complete the song, nor did I have the intention of recording it the next day. Kenny was relentless. He pushed me to edit the lyrics and practice. Then I had to record my part. Meanwhile, he took the producer role and coordinated his siblings to act out each verse, rehearsed, recorded the video. Then he took our cajon, mic'd it up, and recorded the audio beat track for the song. Somehow, this creative teenager was able to pull it all together into the video you see here! Before I share the lyrics, let me give a bit more background. I've had many people ask me how to start their own profitable solo cleaning company. A few weeks ago, I created a free downloadable "Solo Cleaning Quickstart Guide" on my website. I created the lyrics of this song from that quickstart guide. I hope you enjoy it! I'm a proud dad for sure! Lyrics One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight, nine... It's the Ten School Commandments. It's the Ten School Commandments. Number one.
