How Not to Invest in Yourself!

In a recent Facebook Live for the Solo Cleaning School Elite, I shared a story about a cleaner named "Bob" who had the correct intent but the wrong execution. Bob wanted to grow his business with employees to have more time with his family. This is a noble goal and one I can absolutely get behind. Bob was willing to invest in himself to speed up the process of his goal. This is also an excellent mindset, one which many successful entrepreneurs agree.

However, Bob made a major gaff. He invested in the wrong thing. He paid over $10,000 for a coaching program that would NOT get him to his goal. That's a major problem. Bob had a goal. Bob had a mindset of investing in himself. But Bob did not due his due diligence on researching all the options in front of him to find the best option to achieving his goal. Bob didn't ask anyone for their counsel either. These are two major investing blunders that cost him over $10,000. It's unfortunate, but not a total loss. Bob learned this lesson for only $10,000.
